About the Event
Join us for the 9th Annual IRON 5K Run/Walk from Amherst County High School through the scenic small town of Amherst, Virginia. This event will benefit students in Central Virginia Public Schools by providing funds for our program's student-focused activities.
This year, we are thrilled to debut our Bacon Festival! As soon as we send the runners off, family members and spectators are invited to join us for food, games, and lots of bacon. Even if you are not participating in the run/walk, come celebrate with the community in Lancer Stadium at Amherst County High School. Donations are welcome and spectators can purchase an IRON T-shirt for $15.
